The meals are gently prepared using cold filling. Preservation is achieved without preservatives and solely through gentle temperature treatment.

Freeze-Drying

Freeze-drying (also known as lyophilization or sublimation drying) has been used for many years in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Coffee powder, instant soups, and medications containing sensitive enzymes are produced using this gentle method. Anifit also uses freeze-drying in its pet food.

The advantages of freeze-drying are compelling:

• Freeze-drying preserves color, aroma, flavor, and nutrients.
• The surface does not harden; the pores remain open.
• Freeze-dried products can quickly rehydrate, meaning they can reabsorb water.
• Freeze-dried products are lightweight and therefore easy to transport.
• Due to the lack of water, the products have a long shelf life.
• The freeze-drying process requires no additives.
• The products can be consumed dry or rehydrated.

Using the freeze-drying method, we have developed treats with extremely high acceptance, raw meat for BARFers, bland diet dishes, and also spices to enhance meals (toppings).
